Jobsite Safety

Jobsite safety is of the utmost importance at Cornerstone Forming. Our emphasis on safety doesn’t simply lie in the dictates of OSHA regulations, but also in the notion of on-the-job safety being fundamental to the culture of our organization. Bottom line, we do not want anyone to get hurt. This is at the heart of why safety is a priority for us. Cornerstone Forming has a responsibility to its teammates to provide the tools and knowledge necessary to perform without injury.

Some of the measures we take to maintain safety include the following:

  • Drug free workplace (testing at time of hire and on-going random testing)
  • All superintendents are OSHA 30 hour certified
  • Fall Protection
  • Scaffolding Erection
  • HAZCOM
  • Rigging/Signalperson
  • Forklift/Aerial Platform
  • First Aid/CPR
  • Training to foster jobsite awareness of potential hazards

Additionally, we conduct quarterly superintendent safety meetings to strengthen the company’s safety culture. By making safety a responsibility of each member of Cornerstone Forming, we are creating an atmosphere in which the employee demonstrates concern for his own safety, as well as the safety of all those on a project site.
